Richard joined the party in Spring 2015 after retiring and deciding to become more active in politics.
He became a Borough Councillor in 2015. He is currently Deputy Leader of the Conservative group on the King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council,and Deputy Chairman (Political) of the West Norfolk Conservative Association.
